Cross the drawbridge and step into Muiderslot, a real medieval castle dating back to 1285. Explore its towers, historic rooms and castle grounds and discover more than 700 years of Dutch history.
Walk through the rooms where castle residents once lived and discover the stories of famous inhabitants such as Dutch writer P.C. Hooft. Climb the towers and battlements and learn how the castle was built, defended and used through the centuries.
With the included audio tour, the stories of Muiderslot and its former inhabitants come to life as you explore the castle at your own pace.
