After meeting with your English-speaking tour guide at the front entrance of Lake Hollywood Park, your hiking tour will begin. Be sure to have good shoes and a bottle of water for the strenuous adventure hike ahead.

Starting in a nondescript neighborhood, you will soon be greeted by the famous Hollywood sign. As you hike through the dirt trails and historic neighborhood of Hollywoodland, the sign will loom larger and larger overhead. Along with many photo opportunities, you will also have a great view of Downtown LA and Griffith Observatory. As you ascend along the road you will crest the mountain, being able to see both Hollywood and Burbank Studios. In Hollywood the stars are immortalized in wet cement, while in Burbank movie stars are immortalized through cherished films. You can learn about the movie making process from your expert guides, before you reach the peak of the mountain and go behind the sign for a unique view of the letters. Only those that endure the hard work and reach the top ever see the Hollywood sign like this.

Pack yourself a light lunch and enjoy the views of Lake Hollywood, Griffith Observatory, Downtown LA and on most days, the Pacific Ocean. During this adventure your guide will explain the ecosystem which contained in Griffith Park and the surrounding basin. You can hear the sordid tales of the parks namesake, Griffith J. Griffith, the history of Hollywood itself, and stop to realize that everywhere you can see was once farmland.
