Description

Discover London on an entertaining walking tour designed especially for German & French -speaking visitors (depending what option you choose). Conducted entirely in German, this tour is ideal for families and travellers who want to explore the city’s famous sights, hidden corners, and fascinating stories in a relaxed and accessible way.
Our journey begins in elegant Mayfair, one of London’s most prestigious neighbourhoods. Here you will see famous landmarks such as Claridge’s Hotel and Sotheby’s auction house while learning how this refined district became synonymous with wealth, culture, and tradition. Along the way we pass historic tailoring houses such as Henry Poole and Huntsman, which helped shape London’s reputation for classic British style.

Music lovers will enjoy discovering the area where two legendary musicians once lived side by side – George Frideric Handel and Jimi Hendrix. We also visit the famous Apple Corps studios, closely connected to the story of The Beatles and London’s remarkable musical heritage.

As we continue along Piccadilly you will see Burlington Arcade and Burlington House, home to the Royal Academy of Arts, before enjoying a short stop near the historic Fortnum & Mason store. The walk then leads us to the bright lights of Piccadilly Circus before entering the colourful Chinatown district through its iconic gate.

From there we explore Soho, one of London’s most vibrant and creative neighbourhoods. This lively area is famous for its music venues, theatres, and nightlife. Along the way you will see legendary places such as Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Bar Italia, Old Compton Street, and the famous Groucho Club. We will also pass theatres in London’s West End including the Palace Theatre and St Martin’s Theatre.

Continuing towards Seven Dials and Covent Garden, we pass historic pubs such as The Lamb & Flag and the Three Greyhounds while hearing stories about the artists, writers, and performers who shaped this part of the city. In Covent Garden you will experience the lively atmosphere of street performers at the famous “Magicians’ Corner”.

Throughout the tour your German-speaking guide will share entertaining stories about London’s history, culture, music, fashion, and theatre. The route combines famous landmarks with hidden streets and local favourites that many visitors would otherwise miss.

This tour is the perfect introduction to London for German-speaking visitors and families who want to experience the city in an enjoyable and informative way.
