Take off on a journey through space and gain insights into the universe with a live planetarium show presented by astronomers from the Royal Observatory Greenwich. Situated in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Maritime Greenwich, step inside London’s only operational planetarium.

With the Sky Tonight, explore the night sky as it will be on the day of your visit, the fascinating lives of the stars, and the many satellites orbiting planet Earth, in a state-of-the-art 120-seat planetarium. Take in spectacular views of London from the top of one of London’s biggest green spaces.

Join Earth's fleet of satellites in We Are Guardians for an immersive exploration of their role in safeguarding our planet. Experience the Solar System in a spacecraft that can turn the objects in space into sound in Audio Universe, or discover the amazing lifecycle of a star in Starstruck.

Good to know before you go
  • Live shows run throughout the day Monday-Sunday, and you will automatically be assigned one when you make your booking subject to that day’s programming
  • The planetarium is fully accessible by lift, except for mobility scooters which may be too large
  • Four wheelchair spaces are available for each planetarium show, please select the relevant booking option
  • The planetarium is fitted with an induction loop for hearing aids
  • Latecomers and re-entry are not permitted once the screening has begun
