Description
Travel by bus to get a panoramic tour of West End and the City of London. Highlights include a drive past the Palace of Westminster where you can see Big Ben.
From West End, your tour continues to the magnificent Saint Paul’s Cathedral. The cathedral was built by Sir Christopher Wren in the 17th century and soon became an iconic London landmark. Situated on top of Ludgate Hill, the cathedral was one of London's tallest buildings until the 1960s. On Sundays, due to Church services, there is no guiding inside St Paul’s Cathedral.
After exploring Saint Paul’s Cathedral, your tour continues to Buckingham Palace. Buckingham Palace is well-known for its un-smiling guards in red tunics and bearskins. Days when the changing of the guard occurs, your guide will take you up to the gate to witness the famous ceremony. On days when the ceremony does not take place, your guide will take you to view the Horse Guards Parade, a different traditional ceremony.
No boat ride - Tour finishes at 11.30am at Buckingham Palace when there is Changing of the Guard, or at Horse Guards Parade (Whitehall) when there isn’t changing of the guard.
On the River Thames Boat ride (if this option is booked), you'll get the chance to view London's panoramic skyline, seeing many attractions such as: Tower Bridge, HMS Belfast, Tate Modern and the London Eye.
Tour finishes at 12pm approx at London Eye. A ticket for the boat ride will be provided, client can choose to take the boat from London eye or use it later in the day in another pier from Thames Clippers, valid for the same travel date until services ends.
- Please show this e-ticket to gain entry to this tour.
- On Sunday due to Church services, there is no guiding inside St Paul’s Cathedral.
- Our vehicles are modern, comfortable and deep cleaned daily.
- We always stop for photos at Buckingham Palace, unless security or safety issues prevent this. The area often gets very crowded so on days when there is no Guard Change we stop here early in order to get best photos.
- NB Changing of the Guard ceremony does not take place every day and is also subject to weather conditions. It may occasionally be possible to see the Horse Guards but this is subject to daily operational viability.
