Description

This isn't your typical London bike tour. Instead of weaving through busy streets and rushing between tourist hotspots, this is your chance to slow down, unwind and discover a completely different side of the capital. With a maximum of just four guests—and most tours welcoming only two to four—you'll enjoy a genuinely personal experience with plenty of time to ask questions, stop for photographs and simply enjoy the journey.

Led by a born-and-bred Londoner and British Cycling-qualified guide, you'll discover London through the eyes of someone who has called the city home for most of their life. Rather than following a script, you'll hear local stories, hidden history and fascinating insights that many visitors—and even lifelong Londoners—never get to experience.

After a friendly welcome at the iconic Battersea Power Station, a safety briefing and complimentary bottled water, you'll set off on a premium Giant e-bike. Following approximately 85% traffic-free riverside paths, parks and green spaces, you'll cycle through beautiful Battersea Park, passing the Peace Pagoda and ornamental gardens before reaching historic Putney, home of the world-famous Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race.

As the city begins to disappear behind you, you'll arrive at Richmond Park—London's largest Royal Park and the closest you'll get to the English countryside without leaving the capital. Once part of the royal hunting grounds, today it's home to hundreds of free-roaming deer, ancient woodland and breathtaking landscapes. Enjoy spectacular views from King Henry's Mound towards St Paul's Cathedral and experience London's hidden wild side—a timeless landscape where centuries of royal history and nature come together just a short ride from the city centre.

This isn't about racing from one landmark to the next. It's about taking time to experience London differently—breathing in the fresh air, enjoying spectacular scenery and discovering the greener, quieter and wilder side of the capital that most tourists never realise exists. It's the perfect escape from London's crowds without ever leaving the city.

The tour lasts approximately 3.5 hours and covers around 20 miles (32 km). Thanks to our premium Giant e-bikes, the ride is comfortable for anyone with basic cycling ability. One of our recent guests was 74 years old and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Whether it's your first visit to London or your tenth, this tour offers unforgettable memories, authentic local insight and the chance to experience a side of the capital that few visitors ever discover.
