Description
Join me on a tour of the most iconic parts of London as we learn about the history of kings, centuries-old ceremonies, interesting facts, and the events that shaped the United Kingdom while visiting some of the city's most famous landmarks.
We'll start with one of the city's great shows: the Changing of the Guard ceremony. You'll discover why this military tradition has become one of the symbols of London, and you'll learn to identify the different regiments, their uniforms, and the true meaning of this ceremony.
We'll then tour the area of the royal palaces of Buckingham and St. James's Palaces, where we'll talk about the British royal family and their residences. We'll continue to the Horse Guards to discover the origin of another of the oldest military ceremonies.
We'll continue our route to the famous 10 Downing Street, the Prime Minister's residence, while discovering Whitehall Street and its landmarks.
Next, we'll arrive at Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament, two of London's great icons, before finishing in front of the impressive Westminster Abbey, the site of royal coronations and weddings.
