Description

Join a private full-day tour starting with pickup from your hotel, accommodation, or Amsterdam airport, and travel comfortably into the heart of Holland’s tulip and windmill countryside. This tour combines world-famous flower displays with traditional villages and classic Dutch landscapes.
The first part of the day is dedicated to Keukenhof Park, where you will spend approximately two hours exploring one of the most beautiful spring gardens in the world. During the tulip season, Keukenhof showcases millions of flowers in carefully designed gardens and pavilions. You’ll have time to walk at your own pace, enjoy the colors and patterns, take photos, and learn about the cultural importance of tulips in Dutch history.
After leaving Keukenhof, we continue through the countryside, passing tulip fields, canals, and traditional farms that reflect everyday rural life in the Netherlands. Your guide will explain how this reclaimed land has been shaped by water management and agriculture over centuries.
The tour then continues to Zaanse Schans, a historic open-air area known for its well-preserved windmills, wooden houses, and workshops. Here, you will visit a cheese farm to taste traditional Dutch cheeses and learn about local cheese production. You will also stop at a wooden clogs workshop, where craftsmen demonstrate how traditional Dutch wooden shoes are made. If you wish, you may optionally visit the inside of a working windmill (entrance fee not included).
At the end of the day, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Amsterdam airport. The tour is private and flexible, with timing adjusted to your interests and pace. Groups of 1–4 guests travel by SUV, while groups of 5–8 travel by private van.
