TEMPORARY ITINERARY FROM OCTOBER 5, 2026: Due to storm-related road closures, Waimea Canyon and Spouting Horn are temporarily excluded. Hanapepe Town and Historic Waimea Town replace these stops, and Kauai Coffee is included. The regular itinerary’s return date has not yet been confirmed.

See another side of Kauai through its river scenery, waterfall views, and historic plantation towns. Travel with a local driver/guide who shares island stories and history throughout the day.

Begin with views of Opaekaa Falls before joining Smith’s narrated, open-air boat ride along the Wailua River to Fern Grotto. Enjoy the tropical scenery as you cruise through one of Kauai’s best-known river landscapes.

In Old Koloa Town, take time to explore the shops and purchase lunch at a restaurant of your choice. Continue to the Kauai Coffee estate, then visit Hanapepe Town and Historic Waimea Town for a glimpse into the island’s communities and plantation past.

Transportation from select Kauai hotel pickup locations between Poipu and Kapaa and admission to Smith’s Fern Grotto boat ride are included. Lunch is at your own expense.

Tours operate Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Stop order and timings may vary.
