Description

Begin your tour with a drive past the Diamond Head State Monument, your first volcano. Enjoy your first taste of the epic scenery this island has to offer. See the south side of the island from up above and marvel at the skill of all of the surfers you will see.

Cruise by Koko Head Crater, the second volcano of this trip, and learn about its history. Look closely and you can see people hiking up the 1,048 steps to the top. Next, see Eternity Beach from above. This beach has been the filming site for numerous movies, TV shows, and even music videos. Keep an eye out for turtles and Hawaiian monk seals, as well.

Check out the Halona Blowhole, an amazing oceanic geyser created thousands of years ago from an old lava tube. When the waves hit the blowhole at the right angle, it can shoot up in the air over 50 feet. Cruise by Sandy Beach Park, one of the world’s most dangerous beaches. You will see daredevils body surfing the scary waves at this beach daily.

Cruise from up above to see the east side of Oahu. The east side of the island is the most beautiful side in many people’s minds. This view will make you want to come back for more. See one of the best uncrowded beaches on the island and stop to get some snacks and drinks before you continue your adventure to the North Shore.

Drive through the windiest and wettest spot of the island. See how lush and beautiful this island truly is as you literally drive through a tree tunnel. Sample some amazing macadamia nuts, coffee, hot sauces, and more at Tropical Farms Outlet. This stop is packed with opportunities to take some amazing pictures.

Take some amazing pictures of Chinaman’s Hat, as well as the Ko’olau Mountains, where many movies like Jurassic Park were filmed. Learn about one of Oahu’s best attractions and top luau as you drive by the Polynesian Cultural Center. See the first Mormon Temple built outside the continental US as you drive by the Laie Hawaii Temple & Visitors Center.

Stop for lunch and try Oahu’s world-famous shrimp. Some say it’s the best shrimp they have ever tasted in their entire lives. If shrimp doesn’t tickle your fancy, they also have amazing chicken or “to die for” veggie noodles. Cruise past all of the world-famous surf beaches like Sunset, Pipeline, and Waimea Bay and learn all about the big wave surf season.

Visit Puaʻena Point Beach Park, which has the highest probability of seeing Hawaiian green sea turtles on the island. Go for a swim, snorkel, or just hang out under a tree and enjoy this beautiful beach. Try the non-dairy pineapple ice cream that is called the Dole Whip at the Dole Plantation. Get it in a cup or a cone, or try it our favorite way, which is the Dole Whip float. The float is when they put the soft serve over fresh squeezed pineapple juice and give you a straw and a spoon.

Try numerous coffee or tea samples grown on the island, or go to the coffee bar and order whatever your heart desires at Green World Coffee Farms.
