Ready for a morning on the water that feels nothing like a crowded tour boat? Our West Maui Snorkel & Sail departs Lahaina Harbor aboard Paragon, our 47-foot performance sailing catamaran with a maximum of just 25 guests. Smaller boat, smaller group, and a crew that knows these waters well enough to find the best snorkel conditions the day has to offer.

That flexibility is what makes this tour special. Rather than sailing to a fixed destination regardless of what the ocean is doing, our captain reads the conditions each morning and takes you to the spot where the water is clearest, the reef is most active, and the turtles are most likely to show up. And they do show up -- the West Maui coastline is one of the most reliable places on the island to snorkel alongside Hawaiian green sea turtles.

The coastline itself is worth the sail. Dramatic volcanic sea cliffs, lush green mountains dropping straight to the water, and that deep Pacific blue that makes every photo look unreal. Our lifeguard-trained crew gets in the water with you, points out the marine life, and makes sure everyone, first-timers and experienced snorkelers alike, has a great time.

After snorkeling, dry off on deck and settle in for a local style lunch on the return sail: shoyu chicken with dinner rolls, fried rice, and chocolate chip cookies. The open bar features local beer, white wine, and island cocktails, all included.
