Description

"9:00 Meet at Amsterdam Central Station, in front of the WC on the ferry side. (There is only one restroom here)
We will go to Kinderdijk via Rotterdam station.

After arriving at Kinderdijk, we will have about 2 hours for tour.
Of the 19 windmills on the World Heritage List, two are museum windmills. An admission fee will be charged if you wish to enter the museum and see the inside. It is convenient to purchase the tickets in advance on the website, but they can also be purchased on site. If you wish to visit only the exterior, it is free of charge.
After a light lunch at a café in Kindeldijk, we will head to Rotterdam's Markthal & Cube House.

After visiting the Cube House, which looks like a slanted yellow dice, we will go to Markthalle. The Markthalle (meaning “market hall”) was built with the concept of an all-weather indoor market. It is home to Dutch cheese and stroopwaffle stores, as well as international foods and cuisine from around the world. The ceiling artwork is a must-see when you first enter.

The tour will end around 18:00 at Amsterdam Central Station.

Good to know before you go
  • You can use public transportation by touching your credit card to the machine. Mater and Visa are accepted in most places, JCB and Amex are not accepted in many places.
  • We will charge cash for transportation during the tour for the guide's portion of the tour
  • On the way, we will talk about what kind of country the Netherlands is
  • There will be many transfers on public transportation. If trains or other delays prevent the tour from proceeding as scheduled, the end time may be delayed
