Description

Learn to surf in a fun and safe environment with a beginner surf class. Choose a morning start time and enjoy a lesson that is tailored to your needs.

Meet your instructor and get fitted with your surfboard, water shoes, and an SPF 50 lycra shirt. After a safety briefing, an introduction to the sport, and a lesson on the beach, we then head to the ocean to ride Maui's gentle waves.

Get a choice of surfboards that are stable and easy to ride. The water is warm, usually averaging around 78 degrees (25.5°C), and the waves are fun and inviting.

Don’t worry if you are a slow learner or an athlete because the lesson is paced for each student's needs. Enjoy a class that is guaranteed to be fun and learn to surf with the help of your friendly surfing instructors.

  • Minimum age for group class is 11 years old
  • All participants must be able to swim and be comfortable in the ocean
  • 24-hour cancellation policy for all activities
  • Classes run 6 days a week with start times at 8am, 10am, and 12pm
  • Children under 11 should reserve a private or a semi-private class
