Embark on an unforgettable 4-hour snorkel adventure with Dolphin Discoveries in Kona, Hawaii. This tour offers the unique opportunity to explore two of the most vibrant snorkeling spots on the Kona Coast. Guided by the experienced and passionate captain and crew, you'll dive into the pristine waters and discover a world teeming with marine life.

Your adventure begins at our store in the Keauhou Shopping Center to receive equipment, waiver verification and boarding pass, then a 5 minute drive to Keauhou Bay. Then take the boat to visit to Kealakekua Bay, a marine sanctuary known for its thriving coral reefs and historical significance. Snorkel near the Captain Cook Monument and witness the stunning underwater ecosystem, home to a variety of tropical fish, vibrant corals, and possibly even a honu (sea turtle). The clear waters of the bay provide excellent visibility, making it easy to see the bustling marine life beneath the surface. Lucky snorkelers might even spot native spinner dolphins in the deeper waters of the bay.

The second snorkeling spot is another renowned reef on the Kona Coast, where you'll continue your exploration of Hawaii's underwater paradise. Here, you'll encounter hundreds of species of tropical fish, manta rays, and other marine creatures. If you book your tour during the winter months, you might even witness the majestic humpback whales breaching near the boat.

Throughout the tour, the knowledgeable crew will be on hand to answer any questions and share their extensive knowledge of Hawaiian marine life. Whether you're a seasoned snorkeler or a first-timer, this tour promises an enriching and memorable experience. Snorkel participants must be comfortable swimming.
