Description

Begin your day driving through the beautiful Kapiolani Park and the ocean-facing outer slopes of Diamond Head Crater, Hawaii’s icon and most recognizable landmark, where you can marvel at the 100,000 year-old volcanic peak perched above the Pacific.

Traveling along Oahu’s spectacular southeast coastline we arrive at the famous Halona Blowhole and “From Here to Eternity” beach where Green Sea Turtles can often be spotted in the emerald-green waters of the cove made famous by the only Oscar-winning movie made in Hawaii.

We visit Sandy Beach, known for its notoriously powerful shore-breaks and pounding waves.

Driving by Makapu’u Lookout you will see our most recent lava flows, incredible panoramic views of offshore islands and breathtaking lava cliffs above.

We continue to the world-renowned Pali Lookout, that Mark Twain called the most beautiful views on the planet.

Valley of the Temples and the colorful Byodo-in temple is a photographer’s dream.

We visit scenic Chinaman’s Hat, a picturesque islet located in the warm, tropical waters of Kaneohe Bay.

At Kahuku, home of the North Shore’ famous shrimp farms, you will observe endangered wetland birds and try some delicious locally-farmed garlic shrimp, fish or a chicken plate and refreshing drinks. You will be served your choice of nine different sautéed shrimp plates (*plus Chicken Katsu or Veggie Chow Mein options)

Drive by the legendary big-wave surfing location, Sunset Beach.

Visit Waimea Valley Arboretum and Waterfall showcasing over 5,000 species of tropical flowering plants, ancient archaeological sites, and one of the most scenic waterfalls on the island.

Experience the laid-back charm of Haleiwa, the heart of Hawaii’s North Shore and the official surfing capital of the world! During our one-hour stop, you’ll have the freedom to explore at your own pace. Stroll through the colorful, historic streets of Haleiwa, where boutique shops, local art galleries, and charming surf cafés capture the true essence of Hawaii. If you’re craving something sweet, don’t miss Matsumoto’s Shave Ice, a world-famous island treat that’s been delighting visitors for over 70 years!
For nature lovers, a short walk brings you to the nearby beaches, where you might spot Hawaiian green sea turtles basking on the shore. These gentle giants, known as honu, are a breathtaking sight in their natural habitat.
Or simply soak in the North Shore’s laid-back vibe at the lively Haleiwa Marketplace, filled with unique island treasures and delicious local flavors.

Driving through extensive pineapple fields, our last stop is the historic Dole Plantation. Here, you can buy a souvenir to take home and share with your family and friends and always remember your exciting adventure around the Island of Oahu.

On our way back to Waikiki, enjoy Dowtown Honolulu, the outside views of the beautiful Iolani Palace, the only Royal Palace in the United States and the mysterious Kamehameha Statue across. (Drive-by only)
