Description

Discover the beauty and history of Kauai on this all-inclusive day trip from Oahu, featuring a guided land tour of the island’s most breathtaking natural wonders and cultural landmarks. With roundtrip interisland airfare included, there’s no need to worry about flights or logistics—just relax and enjoy the journey.

After a quick flight to Kauai, your small-group mini coach tour begins with a drive along State Road 550, ascending toward Waimea Canyon, often called the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.” Spanning 14 miles and over 3,600 feet deep, its layered red and green cliffs provide a stunning panoramic view. Along the way, your guide will point out Nawiliwili Harbor, Poipu Resorts, Queen Victoria’s Profile, and, on clear days, views of the Forbidden Island of Ni‘ihau.

Note: Waimea Canyon Lookout will be closed from July 14 through approximately December 8, 2025 for slope and foundation repairs. Pu‘uhinahina Lookout will now be the main canyon viewpoint. We’ll also adjust timing slightly to allow for more time at other highlights along the way.

Next, venture into Kōke‘e State Park for a leisurely nature walk, surrounded by native Hawaiian flora and the calls of rare forest birds. Stop at Pu‘u Hinahina Lookout, where you’ll gaze across the vast Waimea Valley, a landscape carved by time.

Enjoy lunch on your own at Kōke‘e Lodge, a rustic eatery nestled in the forest, where our guests receive a 10% discount. Your visit also helps support local conservation efforts with a $3 donation to the Kōke‘e Natural History Museum, which you’ll have time to explore.

On the way back, visit the King Kaumuali‘i Statue at Pa‘ula‘ula (Russian Fort), a tribute to Kauai’s last ruling king. Then, stop at Kauai Coffee Plantation, where you’ll stroll through coffee fields, learn about the roasting process, and enjoy complimentary tastings of locally grown Hawaiian coffee.

With expert guides, seamless transportation, and a curated itinerary, this ultimate Kauai day trip blends adventure, history, and local flavors—all without the stress of planning.
