Begin your journey at our shop, where you’ll check in and receive an introduction to the area, its conservation efforts, and essential snorkeling guidelines. From there, you’ll drive yourself to Kealakekua Bay, where your certified guide awaits with all necessary equipment.

Paddle across the calm waters of Kealakekua Bay, a Marine Life Conservation District and one of the most protected deep-water bays in Hawaii. Along the way, keep an eye out for Hawaiian spinner dolphins, seasonal humpback whales, and an array of seabirds. Your guide will share fascinating stories about the region’s rich history, including its cultural significance and the legacy of Captain Cook.

Upon reaching the protected shoreline of Ka‘awaloa, prepare for an unforgettable snorkeling experience. Dive into crystal-clear waters teeming with vibrant coral reefs and over 200 species of tropical fish. Encounter sea turtles, eels, rays, and even reef sharks in one of Hawaii’s most pristine underwater ecosystems.
