Description

Immerse yourself in Kauai’s breathtaking landscapes on this small-group mini coach tour to Waimea Canyon and Koke‘e State Park. Journey through lush countryside and ascend a winding mountain road to reveal the stunning red and green cliffs of Waimea Canyon, often called the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific.”

NOTE: Waimea Canyon Lookout will be closed from July 14 through approximately December 8, 2025 for slope and foundation repairs. Pu‘uhinahina Lookout will now be the main canyon viewpoint. We’ll also adjust timing slightly to allow for more time at other highlights along the way.

At the Koke‘e State Park Nature Trail, take a leisurely walk through native flora and listen for the melodic calls of rare Hawaiian birds like the ‘apapane and ‘i‘iwi. Enjoy time to explore the Koke‘e Natural History Museum, where your visit helps support preservation efforts with a $3 donation included in your honor.

For lunch, savor a meal at the Koke‘e Lodge with a 10% discount for our guests, surrounded by the beauty of the mountains.

Heading back down, we’ll stop at Spouting Horn, where ocean waves shoot through lava rock, creating a spectacular water spout. In Hanapepe, Kauai’s “biggest little town,” admire sweeping valley views from the lookout and cross the Hanapepe Swinging Bridge.

Next, visit the King Kaumuali‘i Statue at Pa‘ula‘ula (Russian Fort), honoring Kauai’s last ruling king. Conclude your adventure with a stroll through Kauai Coffee Plantation, where you’ll see the coffee-making process from blossom to roast, and sample some of the island’s finest brews.

This tour combines stunning landscapes, rich history, and cultural exploration, offering an unforgettable Kauai experience.
