Description

The Trail Discovery Ride in Ticknock takes you off the beaten track and up into the hills with spectacular views over Dublin City and coastline.

Ticknock is one of the five National mountain bike centres in Ireland and is highly regarded as one of the best places to mountain bike in Ireland!

There are now over 30km of routes and amazing trails to choose from and our instructors will ensure to pick the best possible trails for you.

Our bike partner is Trek and you will get to ride the latest Trek bikes which are only ever a few months old and immaculately maintained by our full time mechanics. If you'd like to upgrade to a full suspension or ebike please let us know.

With expertly designed trails and breath-taking views over Dublin Bay and City, we're here to make this a mountain bike tour to remember.

As with all our tours, we’ll start with a welcome coffee and get to know you and your biking experience before hitting the trails. We’d recommend a full suspension bike for Ticknock or perhaps an ebike if you'd like to get further into the mountains.

This tour is perfect for keen cyclists who are looking to get off the beaten track and explore the greater Dublin area by mountain bike.

Age and Ability
The minimum age we recommend is 11 years old and the minimum height for bike rental is 5’2″. This is a private tour and we can vary the trails and pace to suit your needs, making it as challenging or as easy as you like.

Please note these are mountain bike specific tours and you should have a good standard of cycling technique as a minimum.
