Description
Experience the Wild Beauty of the North
Leave the city behind for a full-day excursion from Dublin to the Giant's Causeway and the Dark Hedges. Traveling by comfortable coach, you’ll journey through the spectacular landscapes of Northern Ireland’s coastline while your expert driver-guide shares the history and legends of the region.
Walk the Iconic Dark Hedges
Our first major stop is the enchantment of the Dark Hedges, a graceful avenue of ancient beech trees. Immortalized in Game of Thrones as the Kingsroad, these trees form a breathtaking natural tunnel. Enjoy a dedicated photo stop to capture this atmospheric site—one of the most photographed locations in Ireland.
Discover the Giant’s Causeway (UNESCO Site)
Next, arrive at the magnificent Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the "8th Wonder of the World." You will have plenty of free time to explore the 40,000 hexagonal basalt columns at your own pace. Whether you choose to hike the cliffside trails for panoramic views or walk directly on the stones, you’ll be captivated by the geology and the myths of Finn McCool.
A City Break in Belfast
On the return journey to Dublin, we stop in Belfast City Center. This is your time to discover the capital of Northern Ireland at your own leisure. Visit the iconic Belfast City Hall, explore the vibrant shopping districts, or grab a quick coffee in the historic Cathedral Quarter before we head back south.
- This tour includes Northern Ireland, which is politically part of the United Kingdom where sterling pounds may be required for some purchases. Most retail outlets however will take card.
- The UK government, starting in April 2025, has required all tourists visiting the country to apply for an ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisations). All the necessary information can be found in the following link: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/apply-for-an-electronic-travel-authorisation-eta
- Please be aware that the weather in Ireland is unpredictable, so come prepared with appropriate clothing.
