Description

Located in the historic Newman House in the heart of Dublin city, The Museum of Literature Ireland (MoLI) is a new home for the world's greatest storytellers.

Experience immersive exhibitions, view treasures from the National Library of Ireland such as the original copy of James Joyce's Ulysses, and relax amid the birdsong in the museum's tranquil gardens and café.

Ticket allows for self-guided entry. Available Monday-Sunday during peak season (May-September) and Tuesday-Sunday off season (October-April). Museum opening hours are from 10:30am - 5:30pm (last entry 4:30pm).

MoLI is the proud winner of a Europa Nostra / European Heritage Award Grand Prix as of September 2023.

Good to know before you go
  • MoLI is open 10:30 AM - 6:00 PM, Tuesday to Sunday and on bank holiday Mondays (late opening Thursday until 7:30 PM)
  • Last entrance is at 5:00 PM
  • Lighting in some exhibitions is low to address conservation concerns around certain artifacts
