Description

Join your Spanish speaking guide in central Dublin. Together you will travel north by bus. You will enjoy Irish landscape along the way and a stop for refreshments to ensure a comfortable journey.

On our way to the North Coast, we enjoy a scenic drive through some of the Glens of Antrim. This area is renowned for its exceptional natural beauty. Take in a panoramic ride, admiring the valleys and the stunning countryside of County Antrim.

The first stop of the day is typically Dark Hedges. This ancient tree lined avenue has become world famous since featuring as the King’s Road in Game of Thrones. Enjoy some time for fresh air and photos before we continue to the Causeway coast.

From the Causeway coastal road you can see the Scottish coast and Rathlin island when the weather is clear. This is one of the most scenic roads in Ireland.

The highlight of today’s tour is undoubtedly UNESCO Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland’s top natural visitor attraction. Discover the many incredible stone formations created by volcanic activity millions of years ago. 37,000 basalt columns form “stepping stones” that lead across the sea from Ireland to Scotland. Celtic legend says that it was a local warrior giant who built the Giant’s Causeway so that he could cross the ocean to pursue a beautiful woman in Scotland. Access to the Giant’s Causeway is free of charge to the public.

Depending on the weather, traffic and season, lunch will be at a good local pub or cafe. Alternatively, extra time will be allocated at Giant’s Causeway. Naturally, you are also welcome to bring a packed lunch and refreshments.

The next stop is Dunluce Castle, built by the McQuillan family around 1500. One of the most iconic castles in the north of Ireland, Dunluce is perched spectacularly at the top of a cliff overlooking the Atlantic. The kitchens collapsed into the ocean hundreds of years ago and there are rumours the castle is haunted since then. The castle also featured in Game of Thrones. Your entrance ticket is included in the price of this tour.

On the way back to Dublin we’ll stop in central Belfast for approximately 60 minutes. You will enjoy this time at leisure. Perhaps enjoy a stroll to enjoy the architecture and atmosphere. There are also some good pubs to enjoy a quick Bushmills Whiskey or pint of Guinness.

All going well, our estimated return to Dublin is approximately 20:30. We hope your Spanish language Giant’s Causeway tour has been one of your most enjoyable experiences in Ireland.
