Description
Step into a California legend. Knott's Berry Farm isn't just a theme park — it's America's first, and it has been thrilling guests since 1920. Set across 57 acres in Buena Park, just 20 minutes from Anaheim, it's the park that invented the genre: from the original Ghost Town to the boysenberry pie that became a national icon. A full day here moves between white-knuckle coasters, authentic Wild West history, PEANUTS™ characters, and food that's worth the trip on its own.
Start with the coasters. GhostRider — one of the longest and fastest wooden coasters on the West Coast — delivers a relentless, classic ride that still surprises. HangTime launches you over the edge of a beyond-vertical 96-degree drop before a series of inversions above the Boardwalk. For families, CAMP SNOOPY™ is a fully dedicated zone for younger guests, with kid-scaled coasters, SNOOPY™ meet-and-greets, and interactive play areas. History lovers will find Ghost Town — a meticulously recreated 1880s mining settlement with live gunfight shows, artisan demonstrations, and the legendary Timber Mountain Log Ride, one of the most beloved dark rides in the world.
What makes Knott's genuinely different is the food. The boysenberry — a fruit developed right here on the farm — shows up in everything: pies, lemonades, BBQ sauces, and craft beers. During the annual Boysenberry Festival, the park transforms with exclusive tastings, live music, and limited-edition dishes. It's the kind of authentic, place-specific experience that most theme parks can't replicate.
Your general admission ticket covers all four themed zones — Ghost Town, Fiesta Village, The Boardwalk, and CAMP SNOOPY™ — plus access to Knott's Soak City (seasonal). Present your mobile ticket directly at the gate. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before your visit. Note: the resort is fully cashless — bring a card or use the in-park exchange kiosks.
