Description

Explore the wine region and village of Etyek on a guided wine-tasting tour from Budapest. Learn more about the history of wine in the region as you meet local producers, and enjoy a delicious 2-course meal of classic Hungarian flavors.

Start with pickup from one of the pickup points in Budapest in an air-conditioned minibus. Relax as you enjoy the journey to the Etyek wine region, located just half an hour outside the city. En route learn about Hungary’s fascinating history and hear about the country’s long and rich wine tradition.

After arriving in Etyek village, visit 2 unique wineries, both of which are family-owned boutique wineries. Tour both cellars and taste 4 wines at each, and learn more about the production process as you snack on local appetizers.

Finish the day with a rustic, 3-course home-cooked meal. Savor classic Hungarian dishes and discuss your wine discoveries as you enjoy your meal. Afterward, relax on the return journey back to Budapest.
