Description

You will be picked up at your hotel and driven to a local home with a comfortable car/minivan by your licensed tour guide. The drive takes between 10-30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Upon arrival you will be greeted by your hosts, (who are friends of your guide), with a traditional Hungarian pálinka! (not compulsory to try, just recommended) Your hearty lunch includes a soup, a main course and a dessert. Drinks, Hungarian wine, and mineral water will also be served. (Do you like beer? Just let us know, we have beer too.)

Main Courses:
Hungarian stuffed cabbage/Hungarian chicken paprikas/Hungarian goulash stew/Pork medaillons Hungarian style served with "lecso" (onion, tomato, paprika ), Lecsó/ Hungarian sirloin steak with fried onions / Hungarian vadas/

Desserts:
pancakes/cottage cheese dumplings/somlói sponge cake/creamy pastry/Hungarian strudel/Zserbó/chestnut cake/Apple pie/Hungarian seasonal cakes

A good conversation over the lunch table along with the great meal might become the highlight of your trip. This program is a good opportunity for you to look behind the scenes of Hungary.

After the tasty and hearty meal you will be driven back to your hotel.
