You'll board one of two unique historical ships: the Kisfaludy Paddle Steamer or the Hableány Paddle Steamer. Both ships are faithful recreations of 19th-century paddle steamers, sister vessels with similar designs and historical significance, offering the same panoramic sightseeing experience as they cruise past Budapest’s most iconic landmarks.
The audio guide is accessible via a QR code on board and is designed to be used on your phone. It includes both listenable and readable content in 30 languages to enrich your journey. For the best experience, please bring your own phone and earphones. If you need help, our staff will be happy to assist.
Please note that seating is unassigned and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
All guests are required to follow safety regulations and crew instructions. Any form of disturbance to fellow passengers is strictly prohibited.
- Our historical cruises operate with two boats. The specific vessel used depends on the number of bookings
- Seating is guaranteed but not assigned. It’s first-come, first-served, so arriving early will help you secure a preferred spot
- Online audio guide is available in 30 languages. Please bring your own phone and earphones!
- Around sunset, the route is slightly adjusted to pass by Parliament at its best light
- Free Wi-Fi is available on board

- Alcohol is not served to anyone under 18
- In rainy weather, covered seating may be limited, but umbrellas are provided. On hot sunny days, parasols will be available to offer shade
- Large items such as strollers, kids’ bikes, and scooters are not allowed on board, but can be stored safely at the dock
- Accessibility is limited. If needed, a companion is welcome to check boarding conditions in advance
