Discover a beer spa set in one of Budapest's most storied bathing houses. The Lukács Baths have welcomed visitors since the 12th century and were once a favorite retreat of writers Gyula Krúdy and Frigyes Karinthy — locals still know it for its authentic, calmer atmosphere away from the busier tourist baths.

Your visit begins with a brief welcome and an introduction to the brewing tradition behind your bath. You will then enjoy a 45-minute private soak in a handcrafted wooden tub filled with naturally mineral-rich Lukács thermal water, infused with hops, malt, and a custom-blended brewer's salt. The hops release essential oils traditionally valued for calming the skin and easing tension, while the thermal minerals work on tired muscles. From your personal copper tap, pour yourself unlimited freshly drafted Hungarian beer throughout the session.

To close your ritual the way our master brewer recommends, you will be served a freshly brewed cup of hops herbal tea (Humulus lupulus infusion) — a traditional Central European calming drink that complements the bath's relaxing effect and rounds off the experience naturally. This finishing tea is unique to our Lukács location and is included with every booking.
