Description

07:30 Hotel pick up and departure to Bruges 295 km on highway. It takes about 3.5 hours. After 1.5 hours we make a short stop at a rest area.

11:15 - 13:15 Arrival in Bruges and 2 hours walking tour. Bruges is the most visited Belgian city with medieval buildings, picturesque canals and a rich history. On a walking tour of Bruges, see the 83-metre Belfort Bell Tower, built in 1240, located on the market square and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Take a tour of the city's 10th-century market. During your city tour, you will also have the opportunity to visit the Beguinage Monastery, founded in 1245 by Margaret of Constantinople, Countess of Flanders. "Beguines" were lonely widows who united in communities - these were the first emancipated women in our history.

13:00 - 14:15 Lunch break. We help with restaurant reservation.

14:15 - 15:15 Visit to the local brewery Bourgogne des Flandres. Here you can learn about brewing in Flanders and try six local beers.

15:15 - 16:00 River boat trip with explanations made by captain or audioguided to see the beauty of the medieval city from the water.

16:00 - 16:45 Visit to the chocolate museum Choco story including a chocolate making show and a small tasting a the end.

16:30 - 17:30 Free time in Bruges.

17:30 Departure from Bruges to Paris. The trip will take from 3.5 to 4 hours (300 km). If desired, a short stop at a rest area will be made.

21:30 Return to Paris. Drop off at your hotel.
