Founded in 2000 by the Dutch collector Gerard Meulensteen the museum has arranged a lot of exhibitions of leading figures of the Slovak, European and world art scene.

The Danubiana Meulensteen Art Museum, which is surrounded by the River Danube, provides guests not only extraordinary artworks but due to its impressive location, it also features a fantastic view of the flora and fauna of the peninsula.

Visit Devin Castle, just a 10 minutes car-drive from Bratislava's old town. The geographical position of the castle offers its visitors magnificent panorama views over the Danube and Morava rivers.

You can also visit the Michael's Gate, one of the oldest buildings in Bratislava and a good location for taking pictures of the city, the Bratislava forest park, the national museum of history or the Slavin war memorial.
