This perfectly planned walking tour of Gaudí's most iconic buildings gets you inside several sites without the crowds and gives you the flexibility to spend your precious time in Barcelona exactly how you want. Since this became a ticGüell site a few years ago, entrance early or sleep in on your vacation. The half day tour includes entrance to Casa Batlló where you'll get to explore each room, views of the exterior of Casa Milà, followed by a visit to Park Güell and La Sagrada Familia with a knowledgeable guide. If you're short on time, the Gaudí Highlights option covers the visits to Casa Batlló and La Sagrada Família in just 3.5 hours.  

The Complete Gaudí Tour in the morning starts at Casa Batlló where you’ll go straight to the most famous rooms. Your guide will show you the tiny details that make this house so fascinating; from breathing ‘gills’ to the clever play of light in the building’s tiles. Then it’s on to see the exterior of Casa Milà, where you’ll learn how this austere building came by the nickname “Stone Quarry.”

From there, it’s off to Park Güell. Part fanciful explosion of color, part thoughtful study of organic forms, it is a perfect reflection of the natural world. Since this became a ticketed site a few years ago, entrance lines have become extremely long – so it’s a good thing you have skip-the-line access. (Please note: Park Güell is not included in the Gaudí Highlights option.)

Finally, hop on a private minibus (or the Metro if you book the Highlights option) for a short transfer to Gaudí’s most iconic work: the one and only Sagrada Família. You’ll spend a full hour exploring the church itself, then, unlike most tours, you will go down into the museum to see some of the architect's drawings, models, and calculations, plus a clear view of his tomb. As the tour draws to a close, get recommendations from your guide on where to eat the best tapas or stay a little longer to continue exploring.

Good to know before you go
  • Unfortunately due to the nature of this tour it is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments or with wheelchairs, or strollers
  • The rooftop terrace of Casa Batllo may be closed during heavy wind or rain
  • Due to the religious nature of La Sagrada Familia, all individuals regardless of gender must cover their shoulders and knees. You can bring extra covering (scarves, etc) to put on just before entering
  • This is a walking tour. Guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty
  • Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult
  • Infants are not allowed on this tour
