Description

This is a certified sommelier's wine and tapas walk, not a crawl. You gather in Sant Antoni, a real residential neighbourhood the tour buses skip, as a group of no more than eight.

Over three unhurried hours you sit down at three family run bars, and at each one your sommelier pours a Spanish wine and explains, in plain language, why it belongs with the plate in front of you. You taste four wines in all, from a crisp cava to a bolder Rioja red, alongside seven creative tapas with a modern twist, far more a meal than a snack. Because the wines are chosen around the season, no two sittings are quite the same, and you leave with a personal list of favourite local spots.

Uncorked Vines was founded by a certified sommelier who grew up in a family wine bar. For over ten years this has been the experience we most want to give visitors: the city through its wine and food, in a real neighbourhood, with someone who genuinely knows what is in your glass.
