Description

This is a fun packed 3h sea kayaking and culinary combo that will provide you with tons of great tips and recommendations to truly enjoy your stay in Barcelona to the fullest.

Barcelona is often referred to as a fascinating city of architecture and street art. Catalan modernism has evolved into something of its own and is often related to the revindication of Catalan identity. We have a unique opportunity to admire some of the most prominent structures of the city and learn about the past.

Sea kayaking is suitable for beginners and does not require any previous experience. However, all participants must be confident swimmers in the sea. We do wear life vests but it is essential to know how to swim in order to participate. As we propel along Barcelona's beachfront we will also notice some of the main buildings and structures that were built for the Summer Olympic Games in 1992. The games have completely changed the face of the city and some say that it was this change that made Barcelona - Guapa!

After reaching the Olympic Port we will turn around and start making our way back to the famous W Hotel and our base. We may enjoy a nice Mediterranean dip along the way if desired.

Once everyone is showered, changed, and nicely tired yet excited, your guide will walk you into the heart of La Barceloneta to enjoy some delicious tapas in the local Petit Bar.
