Barcelona: Early Morning Montserrat Trip with Abbey & Hike

Description

Discover the only trip that arrives at 7:30h in Montserrat and be a lot of time without any other tourists. We will set off from Barcelona by van for 7 persons from 6:05h till 6:30h from different pick up points.
From middle september till middle february we will see the sunrise (if the are no clouds!)
First we will visit the Abbey and the Black Madonna and we won't be faced with long lines to see this fantastic piece of art from the XIIth century.
Then, you'll have two options:
FIRST OPTION: At 8:30h we will start a circular hiking tour with wonderful views. (The hike cannot be slow). Noone else going to Montserrat is doing this hike, so we will be alone almost all the time. Most of the time we will walk in the mountain and not in a paved path.
The maximum elevation gain and loss will do is 440m / 1443 feet, with 6,6km / 4,10 miles. The hiking going up will take 1h. We will arrive next to the most iconic rock in Montserrat. After that, during around two hours, the hike will be quite flat and then will be going down back to the Monastery area.
The minimum hiking tour will be till wherever you want.
If you do the full hiking tour we will arrive around 11:30h to the Monastery and you'll have free time till 12:15h
SECOND OPTION: You can hike wherever you want. You can take the funicular (cable car under the cabin) from 9:30h. I will tell you anyway wich hiking routes I recommend you to do. This second option is perfect for people that are not use to hike and wants to have a less challenging walk in the mountain.

At 12:15h we will go back to Barcelona to arrive at 13:30h

(From monday to friday, usually, boys choir are singing at 13h. If you want to see them, for 20 more euros the day of the trip, you will have included the ticket to the boys choir, the museum ticket and the way back to Barcelona by train, to arrive before 15h)
