Description

Did you know that this European city started out as a small fishing village on the banks of the Amstel River and is now one of the most important trading cities in Europe?

We will start by walking through the historic center and arrive at Dam Square, where we will learn about the history of Amsterdam and the various historical events it has witnessed, from Spanish rule, through French rule, to later German rule.

We will also visit the city's Jewish Quarter, the Rembrandt House Museum, and the Waterlooplein Market, the city's largest and oldest flea market. Handicrafts, clothes, souvenirs, and more. Will you be able to resist?

In addition to the historical aspect, we'll also learn more about the day-to-day life of city residents by strolling through the Flower Market, one of Amsterdam's most iconic spots.

Finally, we will visit the Cheese & More Flower Market shop for a Dutch cheese tasting. The perfect end to the tour!
