Climb the roof of the De Nieuwe Kerk Amsterdam and enjoy a unique view of the city. As part of the 750th anniversary of Amsterdam, take the opportunity to climb the roof of the monument and see the city from a new perspective.

Start your experience with the route to the roof. Enter a 17th-century stairwell on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal. This entrance was originally built for a 115-meter high tower, which was never completed.

Reach the platform on the roof via a temporary scaffolding staircase. Once at the top, view the crossing tower and admire the Amsterdam skyline. Highlights include Westerkerk, Central Station, the Royal Palace Amsterdam, and modern icons such as Zuidas and the A’DAM Tower.

Leave the platform via a second temporary staircase on Dam Square.
