# The eco-friendly boat rental in Amsterdam
Have you ever wanted to cruise the canals of Amsterdam with your friends all by yourself? This is your chance to be a captain! With us, you can cruise the canals of Amsterdam in your own rented eco-friendly electric boat. You don't need a boat-driving license and we'll explain everything. You also get a map with possible routes.

## Capacity
We have several boats, fitting 7, 8, 10 or 12 people. Note: all different sizes boats have different departure points. We have multiple locations in Amsterdam. Where you rent the boat, you must also return the boat.

## Boat rental time
Boats are rented for a minimum of 2 hours. You can rent the boat for longer if you want to. We have a 48 hour cancellation policy.

## Open boat
Our boats are open. This is in our opinion the best way to experience the views. If it rains, we have ponchos and umbrella's available.

## Rules
Further more, please check out the rules mentioned below. Such as no music is allowed on the boat (this applies to every boat rental in the city) and the skipper is not allowed be intoxicated.

Good to know before you go
  • Cancelation policy is 48 hours
  • It is forbidden to play music on the boat.
  • You are not allowed to sail on the IJ.
  • Sail on the right-hand side as much as possible.
  • Give way to larger boats.
  • The person driving the boat must be at least 18 years old and sober
  • Do not sail too close to houseboats & do not photograph inside houseboats.
  • Confetti, rice, fireworks, etc. are not allowed on board.
  • Do not throw rubbish in the water.
  • Organising drinking parties, excessive alcohol and/or drug consumption is strictly prohibited.
  • Urinating in public is prohibited. View all public toilets in Amsterdam here.
  • Note: Any fines for gross misconduct (such as excessive alcohol consumption) are for the renter.
  • There is a €250 excess in case of damage and accident, this will be settled afterwards. Please note that if you do not report damage/accident immediately or damage due to misbehaviour, you are not insured. The excess of €250 is then not valid and you are liable for the full damage amount.
