Enjoy a tour that takes place in very small groups of up to 4 people. This allows your guide to take you through the centre of the district and show you different establishments as well as the famous red windows.

Embark on this unique tour as new tourist regulations in Amsterdam prohibit bigger tour groups to walk directly through the district. You will get the most authentic experience while seeing what it is all about right where it happens: in the heart of the district.

Visit an iconic 70s peep-show (one of the last live peep-shows in the world) to round up your visit with a first-hand experience of what the district has to offer.

Good to know before you go
  • This tour is offered in either German or English. It is not bilingual, so choose your option carefully
  • This tour does not include an inside visit of a coffeeshop
  • On Fridays and Saturdays a lot of tourists visit the Red Light District. If you would like a quieter tour please take the tour on another day
  • The tour will take place in any weather. Don't forget an umbrella for rainy days
  • Distance traveled is approximately 1.8 km or 1.2 miles at a comfortable pace during the city tour
  • It is forbidden to take photos of the sex workers
  • Participants aged 16-18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants younger than 16 can only participate in a private tour. The private tour can be adjusted depending on their age
  • The peep-show is a fun 2-minute experience that does not involve any physical interaction with another person.
