Step inside the original Heineken brewery and discover the story behind one of the world's most famous beer brands. During this interactive, self-guided tour, you'll learn about the brewing process and explore the historic brewery where Heineken was produced until 1988.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the original brewing facilities, including the iconic copper brewing tanks, and experience interactive exhibits that bring Heineken's history to life. End your visit with a complimentary beer or soft drink at the Heineken Experience bar.

Avoid the lines and enter the former Heineken brewery without delay. Visit the Heineken Experience, an interactive exhibition where you’ll learn all about the brewing and bottling process during a fun, 90-minute self-guided tour.

Marvel at many of Amsterdam’s landmarks and monuments on the Hop-on Hop-off bus tour and enjoy panoramic views from the glass roof. Ride along the picturesque streets of the Canal Belt and see the slim merchant houses of the Golden Age. Drive past highlights such as the Royal Theater Carré, the National Maritime Museum and the Jordaan.
Hop off at any of the sites you want to explore, such as the leafy Spui, Anne Frank House or Museumplein, and hop back on to continue along the route.

  • Your booked time slot is your entrance time to the Heineken Experience. Please be there at least 15 minutes in advance
  • In accordance with Dutch law alcoholic beverages won’t be served to visitors under the age of 18. Please be informed that the minimum age to enter the Heineken Experience is 18 as well
  • For the Hop-on Hop-off bus tour, you can hop-on and off as much as you want during the 24 hours your ticket is valid. Locate the bus stops at the City Sightseeing Amsterdam website, or download the City Sightseeing Amsterdam app
  • The bus is wheelchair accessible but wheelchair users must be able to enter and exit the bus independently due to safety reasons
  • No pets allowed, only service dogs
  • Large groups (10+ people) may not all be able to hop on the same bus at the same time due to the number of available seats
