Explore ARTIS Amsterdam Zoo located 10 minutes from city center, directly on one of the canals. See historic monuments, and beautiful flower gardens.
Visit ARTIS Zoo, where something special happened this winter: two elephant calves were born!
Imagine yourself in Madagascar at the renovated Kerbertterras (former lion enclosure) and admire how the ring-tailed lemurs, red ruffed lemurs, and Madagascar radiated tortoises live together here.
Stroll through the historic city park, admire the monumental buildings and explore the botanical garden, and take a relaxing break at one of the vegetarian restaurants.
Check the daily schedule for zookeeper presentations, where you can learn more about jaguars, Asian elephants, and many other animals. Whether you want to discover, learn, or care for nature, you can do it all at ARTIS.

At Micropia this invisible world comes to life through living microbes, microscopes, interactive displays and stories from the lab technicians.
