Before the World War II, 80,000 Jewish people lived in Amsterdam; after the war, just 12,000 remained alive. The Netherlands has been the Western European country with the biggest loss of Jewish lives. Among these people there was also a young lady, with the dream of becoming a writer, Annelise Frank.
