Description

Located in the heart of Amsterdam, ARTIS is the oldest zoo in the Netherlands and the fifth oldest in the world. Watch elephants and giraffes along the historic canals. Only 5 minutes from city centre.

Visit the jaguar cub and its mother, and along the way, discover tapirs, capybaras, and other species of the Pampa. As you explore the park, meet (endangered) animals from all over the world and discover how important it is to protect these species.

Visit the Planetarium for a journey through space (admission included). Discover stars, planets and marvel at our place in the universe.
